FROM THE PRINCIPAL

We are beginning to plan for next year already. We are making some changes to dress code. Sweatshirts will be limited to those with the Warriors logo and those with the block M, no hoods. I will pass along a more extensive update during the summer.  Congratulations to our 2nd graders who will be making their 1st Communion on Sunday!

 

2008/2009 TUITION INFORMATION

Please return the FACTS Tuition Payment plan applications as soon as possible.    We have not heard anything yet regarding Diocesan Tuition Awards or Scrip Tuition Credit.  We will hopefully, have that information out to you by mid May.

 

TITLE I READING

Title I reading Young Author Visit, Grades 1 – 4, will be on Tuesday, May 27,  3:00 – 4:00.  See the green letter and RSVP sent home for details.

 

ART NEWS

Thank you to all those who came to the Art Show!  We raised over $250 for new art supplies!  Winners of the 8th grade Silent Auction who still need to pick up/pay for their winning paintings are:  Winners – Michael Sullivan, Deb Buzard, Cheryl Stepp, Anne Schwendenmann, Tim Bowman, Tim bowman, Theresa Montgomery and Melanie Kaiser.    Artist – Megan Sullivan, Hannah Buzard, Natalie Stepp, Jill Schwendenmann, Naomi Reategui, Chloe Bowman, Kevin Montgomery and Michelle Kaiser.  Please pick up/pay for art in the main office.  Thank you for your support!  Julie Freeman, Art teacher.

 

FESTIVAL BASKETS

Class theme items can still be brought in for the festival baskets.   Please bring in an item for your class theme (or $2 - $5 in an envelope) to class ASAP. The class baskets are sold through silent auction at the festival. PLEASE help make SMM’s festival even more successful than last year's!   Class themes: Pre-K & Kindergarten – Gardening, 1st -- Rainy Day Activities, 2nd -- Red, White & Blue, 3rd --- OSU, 4th – Christian/Inspirational, 5th -- Pampered Pooch, 6th -- Art Supplies, 7th – OSU,  8th -- Grilling/Outdoor Chef.  Questions? MEMORIAL BRICK GARDEN

The Saint Mary Magdalene Memorial Brick Garden is a wonderful way to celebrate and honor past, present and future members of our parish and school community.  Each brick can contain three lines with each line containing thirteen characters.  The cost for each brick is $50.00 or two for $75.00.  You can obtain an order form at the display in the church gathering space, online at www.saintmarymag.org or in the school office.  Please contact Meg Cline at 853-3067 with any questions.
