Columbus Public Schools will have summer school from June 21 – July 15, Monday through Thursday each week. Many schools offer classes for private school students if there is space available. Applications will be on the district website, and we will have applications in the school office when they are made available. For more information please call 221-3228.
The Saint May Magdalene Band will perform their Spring
Concert on Thursday, May 13th at 7pm at Bishop
Ready High School. The concert is free and open to all. It will
include the beginner band, intermediate band, middle school band and the Bishop
Ready High School Band. A cookie and snack reception is planned
after the show.
Flower Sale pick-up is this Saturday (5-8) from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Flowers that are not picked up by 1:00 will not be held unless previous arrangements have been made. If you have any questions, please call Rae Klosterman, 276-4023.
Thank you to all families who helped make this year’s Flower Sale a HUGE success!!! The following families sold 30 or more items and will participate in the Money Machine: Rogers (PK) Wolf (2nd), Smith (3rd), Ferko, Cross, McConnell and Brickner. The following families sold 15 – 29 items and will “Jump for Georges”: Cabot, Snyder, Boyer, Dent, Tokar, Puccetti, Flemister, Klosterman, Mozzetti, Rains, Biegler, Mitchell, Stultz, Weiner (5th), Kirk, Robinson, Whitehead, Handley, Montgomery. Information on Money Machine and Jumping for Georges will be sent home to each family.
Please remember that items and/or money for home room festival baskets are due no later than May 17.
The Garden Club needs your help this Saturday (5-8). We will be cleaning up the beds for our planting the following weekend. When you pick up your flowers, please consider giving us a hand for a while, anytime from 9:00 – 11:00am.
Open to all children ages 5-10. Bible School will be held in St. Mary Magdalene Church Hall beginning at 9:00 a.m. The day will end with the children participating in the 4 p.m. Mass and a family luau. Cost is $15.00 per child which includes morning and afternoon snack, lunch, tee shirt, all craft items and dinner. Please call the school office for registration forms.
The following camps are being offered at Bishop Ready this summer: Wrestling, Boy’s Basketball, Girl’s Basketball, Football, Bowling, Boy’s Baseball, Volleyball (Middle School and Youth Camp), and Girl’s Basketball. Registration forms are in the school office.
Ohio Dominican University will hold Summer Basketball Day Camp June 21 – 24 for boys grades 4 – 10. Registration forms can be picked up in the school office.
The following students are scheduled for Safety Patrol the week of May 10: Ryan Hamilton, Maggie Clark, Grace Fox, Justine Ferko (AM), Shawn Robinson (PM), Andrea Duarte, Andrew Dawson, Colin Dotters, Cara Rains, Avery Kamer, Quentin Handley and Matt Hagood.
The following students are scheduled to serve 8:15 Mass the week of May 10: Henry Tokar and Amber Ucker.
