FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Please join us for our all-school Holy Thursday Prayer Service on March 20 at 2:15.

HOLY THURSDAY

The following servers who are participating in Holy Thursday services need to be at church by 6:00 p.m.:  Chris Fulcher, Josh Puccetti, Bruce Tokar and Henry Tokar.

PARENT TO PARENT

The spring session of Parent to Parent will be held on Tuesdays, April 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.  Parents need to attend all 4 sessions to complete course.  The program is a video driven presentation with opportunity for group discussions.   Parents of students in grades 6 – 8 may register by calling the School Office at 279-9935.  Meeting place will be the teacher’s lounge in Magdalene Hall.  Remember this program is required by the time you child finishes 8^th grade at St. Mary Magdalene.  Most Columbus Catholic High Schools require this course and Bishop Ready will accept your attendance certificate from St. Mary Magdalene.

SCHOOL TRAFFIC

We have had several parents call in regarding the speed of traffic by parents around the school.  Please make sure you are driving at a slow speed when you are in the school area especially when you are dropping off and picking up your children

ED CHOICE

All Ed Choice Applications must be in the school office no later than April 15.  Please call the school office if you have any questions.

TRANSPORTATION

Applications are available for busing for next school year.  If you think you are eligible for busing, please call the school office for an application.

SKATING PARTY AND DRESS DOWN

Tickets are currently on sale for the Skating Party, Monday, March 17th from 6 – 8:30 pm at Skate America in Grove City.  Tickets are $3.00 at school and $4.00 at the door.  If you buy a ticket you can dress down free on Monday, March 17th.  If you do not buy a ticket you can pay $2.00 Monday and dress down.

DANCE CLUB

Attention 7th and 8th Grade students!  It’s almost time for Dance Club!! Saves these dates:  Sundays: April 6, 13, 20 and 27 for dance classes from 7:15 – 9:15pm.  The final dance will be on Friday May 2nd from 7:00 to 10pm.  If you have any questions, contact Marilyn Livingston 877-3904.

MEMORIAL BRICK GARDEN

The Saint Mary Magdalene Memorial Brick Garden is a wonderful way to celebrate and honor past, present and future members of our parish and school community.  Each brick can contain three lines with each line containing thirteen characters.  The cost for each brick is $50.00 or two for $75.00.  You can obtain an order form at the display in the church gathering space, online at www.saintmarymag.org or in the school office.  Please contact Meg Cline at 853-3067 with any questions.

SAFETY PATROL

The following students are scheduled for Safety Patrol the week of March 17: Alexis
Washburn, Dylanie Tilley, Nick Ingram, Ann DiNovo, Lindsay Gianvito, Jordan Handley, Kyle Dyson, Taylor Hegwood, Gregg Hutchinson, Nikki Brown,  and Michelle Kaiser.
