FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Parent/Teacher conferences are being held March 6 from 3:30 until 7:30 p.m.  Please contact your child’s teacher(s) if you wish to meet with them.  We would also like to invite you to a silent interpretation of the Stations of the Cross put on by our 8th grade class on Friday, March 14 at 2:15.

 

2008/2009 REGISTRATION

Registration for all in house families have been mailed.  Please call the school office if you did not receive registration papers. 

 

DIOCESAN TUITION ASSISTANCE

The deadline for applying for Diocesan Tuition Assistance is March 15th.  There are still some forms available in the office.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Applications are available for busing for next school year.  If you think you are eligible for busing, please call the school office for an application.

 

TITLE I READING TEACHER CONFERENCES AND READING WITH YOUR CHILD

The Title I Reading Teacher, Mrs. Altfater, will be available for conferences on Thursday, March 6 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Please call the school office to schedule either a conference time to discuss your child’s progress and/or reading time with your child.   See more details in the gold letter Mrs. Altfater sent home.

 

SKATING PARTIES

Mark your calendar!!!  The final two skating parties will be Monday, March 17 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, April 24th from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

 

DANCE CLUB

Attention 7th and 8th Grade students!  It’s almost time for Dance Club!! Saves these dates:  Sundays: April 6, 13, 20 and 27 for dance classes from 7:15 – 9:15pm.  The final dance will be on Friday May 2nd from 7:00 to 10pm.  If you have any questions, contact Marilyn Livingston 877-3904.

 

MEMORIAL BRICK GARDEN

The Saint Mary Magdalene Memorial Brick Garden is a wonderful way to celebrate and honor past, present and future members of our parish and school community.  Each brick can contain three lines with each line containing thirteen characters.  The cost for each brick is $50.00 or two for $75.00.  You can obtain an order form at the display in the church gathering space, online at www.saintmarymag.org or in the school office.  Please contact Meg Cline at 853-3067 with any questions.
