Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on March 18th. Letters will be sent home next week if you would like to request a conference with your child’s teacher. Teachers may also request a conference with parents if they feel there are reasons to talk to you about your child’s progress.
Parents, you still have time to go on line and apply for Diocesan Tuition Assistance. Applications must be done on line at www.factstuitionaid.com. The $25.00 processing fee must be paid electronically when you fill out the application. Papers to validate your income must be mailed to FACTS and postmarked by the March 15th deadline. Please note: you will not receive tuition assistance of any kind if you do not fill out this application. If you need assistance in going on line to apply or have questions, please call the office.
Congratulations to Emily Cline, Kelley Garrison and Michael Trudell for participating in last week’s Spelling Bee. They competed against other Catholic Schools in our area. Michael (grade 4), was most successful making it to the 17th round! Thank you to all who participated. A big Thank You goes to Miss Moening who organized this project. We look forward to participating for years to come!
During the month of February, the students of St. Mary Magdalene School collected $134.50 for the Capital Area Humane Society. Student Council would like to thank all students who helped to make this a successful campaign.
The 3rd grade class is looking for empty Pringle’s cans for an upcoming project. If you have any cans, please have your child bring them to the school office.
The candy bar sale is now over please return all money and/or unsold candy bars as soon as possible. If you are still selling candy bars or have any questions, please call Shelley Hamilton, 274-7242.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 16 5:30 – 7:30 for a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner. Cost is $2.00 for adults, children 8th grade and younger are free. Please call the Rectory, 274-1121 for reservations. There are also sign-up sheets in the Church.
