Issue 22 February 19, 2010
If you watch Channel 6 or Fox Channel 8 you will see very clearly whether we will be open or closed because of weather. Both channels are very clear in stating that “COLUMBUS CATHOLIC SCHOOLS” are either OPEN or CLOSED. DO NOT look for Columbus City Schools. We do not follow their schedule. You should also receive a phone call from St. Mary Magdalene School with my message that we will be closed due to weather. I send that message out as soon as I hear Columbus Catholic Schools are closed. If you have not been receiving a phone call with this message, please call the school office.
Registration papers were sent home with students the first week in February for all families currently attending SMM. If you do not have your registration forms, please check with your child and call the school office. The window for guaranteed placement in the classroom was to expire Friday, February 19, but due to snow days we will extend that date to Wednesday, February, 24. We will begin accepting new family registrations on Monday, February 22.
Parents, now is the time to go on line and apply for Diocesan Tuition Assistance. Applications must be done on line at www.factstuitionaid.com.
