We have started sending messages through the Ohio School Alert Network. It is very important that we gather your current phone and email address so we can notify you of a school closing as well as keeping you up to date on activities we have planned. If you have not turned in the blue information form, please do so as soon as possible. Information on Catholic Schools Week activities is on the back of this newsletter. All parents and grandparents are welcome to join us for any activities. We are looking forward to a fun week with the students.
Each year the Carol Flanagan Footsteps Fund provides additional assistance for families in need. This fund is a remembrance for the years of service Mrs. Flanagan gave to our school. If your family has recently experienced an unforeseen hardship, you may be eligible to receive assistance. Please notify the office for an application. Deadline for submitting the application is Friday, February 8th.
Information regarding FACTS Tuition Assistance can be picked up in the school office. Families with students going into grades K-8 are eligible. A flyer was sent home last week with additional information.
TUITION AND FEES
As we are approaching registration for the 2008-2009 school year please contact the office regarding outstanding fees or tuition. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Graham in the office.
SUB SALE
Order forms for the SMM Athletic Association Super Bowl SUB SALE are due Friday, January 18th. No money is due at this time. Delivery is January 31st.
CAFETERIA HELP
The Cafeteria is looking for help at lunchtime during Catholic Schools Week. If you are able to help out, please call Alice Carrier, 279-2567 or the school office.
The Saint Mary Magdalene Memorial Brick Garden is a wonderful way to celebrate and honor past, present and future members of our parish and school community. Each brick can contain three lines with each line containing thirteen characters. The cost for each brick is $50.00 or two for $75.00. You can obtain an order form at the display in the church gathering space, online at www.saintmarymag.org or in the school office. Please contact Meg Cline at 853-3067 with any questions.
The following students are scheduled to serve 8:15 Mass the week of January 21: Briena Breckenridge and Hannah Buzard
