With the school closed last Friday, hopefully you received a phone call and/or email regarding the school’s closing. If you did not receive a call or email, or, if you would like to add or delete a phone number or email address, please call the school office.
There are changes in the process for applying for Diocesan tuition assistance. All applications must be done on line and all fees must be paid electronically when you apply. Please call the office 279-9935, if you will need assistance in going on line to apply for assistance and with electronic payment. We are trying to develop a plan to assist all our parents. Please file as early as possible.
We will have an Open House for families interested in sending their children to St. Mary Magdalene on Sunday, January 31 from 12:00 – 2:00PM. Please let family and friends who have expressed an interest in sending their children to our school know of this event.
Wouldn’t you like someone else to make your family dinner for a change? Please join us for GREAT food, friendship and relaxation at our Parish Community Dinner on Tuesday, January 19th from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Cost is $2.00 for adults, children 8th grade and younger are free. To sign up, call the rectory, 274-1121, or there are sign-up sheets at the church doors.
The Sponsor and Candidate retreat is on February 22 starting with Novena Mass at 7:00pm.
SMM Athletic Association’s Super Bowl Sub Sale is currently going on. Order forms are due in January 25th. Delivery will be February 3rd.
The Knights of Columbus Council
13581 will sponsor a Free Throw Contest on Saturday, January 23rd in
the SMM
Gym from 2:00 – 4:00pm. The competition is open to boy and girls, ages 10
through 14. More information will be sent out next week.
