We will be having a blood drive on Thursday, November 10th from 1:00- 7:00 in the gym. Please consider giving. It is a good cause, plus we would like to meet our school goal. The homeroom that gets the most donors wins a prize.
This year’s school directory was sent via e-mail. If your family did not receive a directory and you would like to have one, please call the school office.
Student Council will hold its first Bake Sale on Wednesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 27. All items cost 25 cents. Proceeds from the bake sale will benefit Cancer Research.
Don’t forget to send in Box Tops by October 28th! The class who brings in the most Box Tops during these 2 weeks will receive a Dress Down Day!
Home and School is selling Thanksgiving Pies again this year to donate to the Thanksgiving Dinner for needy families held at St. Aloysius Church. An order form was sent home with types and prices of pies available. There are extra order forms in the school office if you need one. Order forms need to be returned to the school office no later than Monday, October 31. Please call Becky Puccetti, 276-0249 if you have any questions.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 30th at 3:00pm when the Knights of Columbus, Council 13581 sponsors their annual Trunk or Treat. Children, preschool through 6th grade walk around the church and school going from parked car to parked car collecting Halloween goodies! Cars, trucks, vans and SUV can be decorated (optional) and you can also dress up yourself and be a part of the fun while you hand treats out to the goblins. If you are coming “decorated” please be here by 2:00. We generally have several hundred goblins so many trunks with goodies are needed. A form was sent home with each student with additional information and a place to volunteer to pass out treats. If you are interested, please return the bottom portion of the form as soon as you can.
The next Skating Party will be Thursday, November 3rd from 7 – 9pm at Skate American Grove City. Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 31 for $3.00, which includes Dress Down Pass for November 3rd, or $4.00 at the door. If you do not wish to attend the skating party, you may dress down on the 3rd for $2.00.
