FROM THE PRINCIPAL

The students have a lot of field trips coming up.  Please be aware that no adult will be allowed to go on any field trip without completing Protecting God’s Children and has a copy of their fingerprint report in the school office.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!  If you were fingerprinted at SMM School last year in October or this September, please bring a copy of your fingerprint report to the school office.  Copies of last year’s fingerprinting and this year’s were not automatically sent to the office.

 

TITLE I SERVICES

A copy of the Title I Final Report for the 2006-2007 school year is available in the school office.  Please call the office if you would like a copy and one will be sent home with your child.

 

BASKETBALL COACHES

If you are interested in coaching basketball this season, please call Renee Kreutler at 975-3569 by October 31.

 

GARDEN CLUB

Please join the Garden Club for their annual Fall Pruning and Clean Up, Saturday, October 27 at 9:00a.m.  We will meet at the Rectory Garage.  Please bring necessary tools, gloves and a friend!  A delicious luncheon will be provided.  If you have any questions, please call Mary, 279-2790.

 

MEMORIAL BRICK GARDEN

The Saint Mary Magdalene Memorial Brick Garden is a wonderful way to celebrate and honor past, present and future members of our parish and school community.  Each brick can contain three lines with each line containing thirteen characters.  The cost for each brick is $50.00 or two for $75.00.  You can obtain an order form at the display in the church gathering space, online at www.saintmarymag.org or in the school office.  Please contact Meg Cline at 853-3067 with any questions.

 

TRUNK OR TREAT

Mark your calendars for the annual Trunk or Treat sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.  This years date is Sunday, October 28.  Families wishing to decorate their cars should be on the school campus by 2:00.  Trunk or Treating starts at 3:00 with a Halloween party in the Church Hall immediately following.  Look for a flyer with more information to come home next week.

 

SAFETY PATROL
