As the weather turns cold, please send a jacket or
sweatshirt to school. We will be out for recess on most days.
Please use extra caution when picking up and dropping off at school. We have
had some close calls recently. Please do not stop in the middle of the road.
Pull over to the curb. Also pull on the school side. Do not park on the
opposite side and have your child cross the street. This is especially
dangerous. It might require a trip or two around the school, but it will serve
in everyone's best interest in regard to safety.
Come hungry! The SMM 8th Graders will be serving at Culvers Restaurant this Thursday, September 22, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm with a percentage of your bill and their tips going to their class trip in the spring.
Register for the 3rd annual “Step Up with Kids” 5K/1 mile walk, Saturday, September 17 at Genoa Park (behind COSI) in downtown Columbus. This year there will also be a “Step Up to Better Health” health fair. To register go to www.premierrace.com
