Issue 3 September 9, 2011
Father mentioned last Sunday that he will begin to introduce the changes in the mass that will officially take place during Advent. We will also begin to introduce those in the classrooms as well.
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) will begin classes starting this weekend. If you are interested please call the parish office at 274-1121.
All incoming 7th Grade students must show written proof of a TdaP shot within the past 5 years. This shot prevents Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (whooping cough). Brand names include Adacel and Boostrix. Please check with the school nurse if you have any questions about the shot, need help finding an immunization provider or would like the nurse to check your child’s shot record. If the school does not have proof of this shot by September 14, your child will be excluded from class until proof is received.
If you happen to have the following items around your home and are not using them, the Art Room would really appreciate them. Thank you so much for your support of our creative endeavors. Metal cake pans, empty baby wipe containers, needles, thread, fiber pillow stuffing, buttons, wall paper books and sidewalk chalk.
The Fall Fundraiser continues through Monday, 9/12. Don’t miss your chance to order your Fall mums, delicious Butter Braid pastries, or scented candles!
