Welcome back! We have had a great beginning to the school year. Please know that you are welcome to all activities we have planned during the year with your children.
The school has gently used VCR/DVD players and computer monitors that are no longer needed. VCR/DVD players are $10 and computer monitors are $20. If you are interested, please call the school office.
Please remember to turn in all your paper work from the orientation packet to the school office including Emergency Cards. If you received an EdChoice scholarship, please remember to turn in your acceptance form. If you have any questions, call the school office.
As of right now we are working with the Diocesan Office regarding busing. We have 19 eligible riders, we need 20. If you live 2 miles from SMM and did not apply to use busing, please stop in the office for an application. If you received a letter denying you transportation, please bring it to the school office. We do not know who is eligible, we have asked CCS to send us a list.

If your students participated in the federal lunch program last year, their eligibility continues while we process new forms for this year. Forms for the lunch program were in your packet. If you need a form or have questions, please contact the school office.

It is my pleasure to begin my first year at St. Mary Magdalene School as your child’s Art teacher. I come to SMM with 7 years of Art teaching experience. Most of my teaching experience has taken place at the secondary level in Wisconsin, where my family relocated for 8 years. With our return to Ohio, we are happy to be near family, friends and Buckeye fans once again.
My husband Dan and I have a 4 year old son, named Sam, and a one month old son, named Tucker. We are both graduates of Miami University. In addition to my bachelor’s degree, in Art Education, I also received my masters in Education with a concentration in learning disabilities in Wisconsin. In my spare time, I enjoy working in chalk pastel and acrylic paint. I also have a mural painting business, called Magnolia Daydreams.
As I move in to my classroom, I look forward to meeting your students and getting to know your families. If any of you are artists, I’d love to incorporate your skills into my classes. Also, if you have extras of any of the items listed below, I’d appreciate you sending them to school with your student. I look forward to working with you this year. Cordially, Maggie Rapp Boggess.
